The Story Continues

The other day I came back from work a bit out of sorts. I heard that one of our staff was working a second job stuffing envelopes to make ends meet. Which of course makes perfect sense since we can only hire them four days a week, and salary is low even for those days. But it still hurt, and I found myself crying out to God once again–how long!?

Next morning, we got this post, a response to our previous prayer update:
“Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!. Not a single completed sign language bible in the whole world?. Not even in English?. I too am burdened to see the deaf come alive in the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is my joy and privilege to send another $5000 for the translation of the Bible work.”

I know you have been praying since our last prayer update, and God is touching the hearts of people to give. Thank you. And thanks too, to the many people who support us personally (as opposed to the translation project and staff), some for more than 30 years! It is because of your faithfulness that we are seeing God’s hand among the Deaf of Asia and the Pacific today. Thank you so much.
