Wheelchairs of Hope Annual Fundraising Event

This Saturday is the annual fundraiser, and we’ll celebrate 10 years since we first sent our first wheelchair to China. A Japanese athlete who won the silver medal at the Vancouver Paralympics two years ago is the featured speaker. Several VIPs from the various corporations that sponsor the project will also be attending. Please pray that we will be sensitive to what God would have for us that day, for the many opportunities to meet people and build relationships with those we’d never have had a chance to meet otherwise. And for me personally– unhurried, well-ordered, joyful, able to connect well–please pray that these qualities will be evident in me this weekend, that I will rely on God’s Spirit, because I will definitely be out of my comfort zone!
