Tomorrow and beyond . . . how to pray

Pray! Tomorrow I meet with a researcher who may be able to help me get access to some much needed data for sign language analysis.

Today at work we talked about the changes needed in the second draft of John’s Gospel, Chps. 4-5. We’re hoping to finish the third draft and have it ready for comprehension checks by the end of the month.  ( We bring in someone who doesn’t know the Bible, who watches the translation and tells us what they understand it to mean. We are sometimes surprised to find out that the translation we painstakingly worked out sometimes means something very different the viewer than what we intended.) Comprehension checks can be a great way to introduce people to the Bible, so pray. Pray of course for good feedback and a clear translation. Pray also that the Word will touch the lives of the people we bring in.
