Computer back in service–just in time for the Black Gospel Benefit Concert

It’s crunch time for Mary Esther too.  The Black Gospel benefit concert is one week away, and much remains to be done. The computer crashing did not help with planning, though she says much more time was spent in prayer–God does get our attention. Pray for strength and wisdom as jet-lag and work demands collide.  Pray that many will come and hear the Good News at the concert, as well as for the fund-raising and promotion.

We’re thankful that her computer saga seems to be winding down. She got her laptop back last Saturday with a new hard drive, a new optical drive, and a new operating system (Lion upgrade). Most of her files were restored, and now she’s calling Apple Care from Japan to do the “clean-up” jobs (like restoring all her old e-mails in their respective folders–an extensive filing system with years of information stored there). A few items remain–like being able to send mail from her computer instead of going on-line and sending via webmail. Pray for patience and a good end to the situation.
