Earthquake Relief for Deaf People

A big thank you to all who have donated to the relief fund for Deaf people affected by the earthquake. It was a pleasure to sit with the ViBi leadership and watch them talk through all the opportunities for helping Deaf people recover from the recent triple disaster. Thanks to you, we will be able to support a variety of efforts. Some of the possibilities are helping supply Deaf church groups doing relief work and providing trauma care to Deaf people in shelters and/or damaged homes, and also supporting a Deaf trauma care facility/network in Sendai that is trying to get up and running.  More possibilities came to light during the yearly board meeting as well. Pray for the team as they investigate possibilities and make final decisions.
