New Birth, New Life

Your prayers for the people of Japan are being answered.  Here is the announcement from the bulletin of the small Deaf church we attend:

“Last week was Easter Sunday. Ms. Yokota, who came for the first time made a profession of faith in Jesus and was saved. Hallelujah! Also Ms. Yano decided to live as a follower of Christ. After that, on the 28th, Ms. Hagiwara was also saved. Hallelujah. Pray for these three, that God will guard their life of faith. May God bless their Christian walk.”

We’ve been praying for Ms. Hagiwara for over 15 years, ever since we moved to Tokyo. She and Ms. Yano both work for ViBi.  Please pray for these whose faith will surely be tested quickly.

Mark is back from Bangkok. Four days with long hours of learning about and working on comprehensive planning left him somewhat tired, but glad for the opportunity and thankful for the great team of people he got to work with. One more day to catch up, and then its off to the U.S.
