More opportunities

ViBi holds periodic workshops to hone our skills and improve our translation.  Yesterday a well-known Sign Language actor/lecturer gave us ideas for helping our translation become more natural and understandable, and also helped us understand how our product is perceived in the non-churched community (98% of the population). Already we’ve had good discussions around the material he presented, and have some ideas for changing our systems. Pray that these will continue to ripen and will bear fruit in better translation, and that our translation will be much more widely accepted and used in the Deaf community.

A potential funder (who has the authority to give very large financial grants) has arrived in Japan to visit the ViBi for the next two days.  Will you please pray that he will see and hear to accurately understand what the project is about and to have insight on funding both for ViBi  and for all of Asia Sign Language translation needs.
