Leaving and arriving

Thanks for praying. We made is safely back to Japan and home.

Leaving the U.S. was hard this time. So many tasks ran down to the wire. So many loose ends seemed to be left hanging. Everything that HAD to happen did, but it just seemed like more of a struggle than usual.  Saying goodbye to family and friends is never easy. Feeling this weight, leaving for Japan felt like walking into the dark with no assurances.

Arriving was the polar opposite. It felt refreshing, comforting, hopeful. Like we had come home where we belong. Thanks for praying us through.
