Recording Matthew 11-20 Right now

While the signer is practicing, I’ll bring you up to speed. Got a seat on the train Tuesday, and had everything checked by the next day.  There were a few spots that needed to be redone, so we did most of those first thing in the morning, and went on to finish chapters 15 and 16. I checked them during lunch break, and in the afternoon we went on to record all the way through chapter 20 by 4:30!
After we were done, a friend from the U.S., took the whole crew out to supper and we had a great time joking and talking.
This morning, I was up early checking 17-20. Got a seat on the train, so was able to finish checking everything by the time I got to work this morning.
All told we had five places to re-record. Only five, but it took until lunch to do. First we had to figure out what the solutions were. Then, Pastor Minamida had to record the whole section seamlessly, perfectly, while also remembering where the trouble spots were and how to fix them. But we have them recorded; just have to check them one more time.
Wouldn’t you know it! Checking the final fix, I found one more error I missed before. So after lunch we were at it again, making one last draft.
Everything has been recorded and checked! Now we’re recording Pastor Matsumoto doing a greeting for our home page.
Putting away the studio equipment and cleaning up.
Done! Debrief for a bit and then go HOME!
