Special Bulletin from a supporting church for those in the Portland, OR area:

Grace Community Church (GCC) has a passion for missions.  Budget issues affecting GCC are impacting many projects and special needs of our missionaries.  A group came together with a strong desire to take the burden from GCC and do something about this. They envisioned a fund raiser that would raise enough funds to ease the worry about the continuation of these vital projects.  We need your help to spread the word!

On April 30th “La Vita e Bella—Giving the Good Life” will be held at GCC.  It is a Dinner/Auction event. There will be a Silent Auction and a live auction.  The event begins at with an auction pre-view followed by a very special Tuscan style dinner, entertainment and finally the auction. Some of the items to be auctioned are:

– 2 Brand new Vespa’s from Vespa of Portland

– Skamania Lodge Getaway

– One week at a Wyndam Resort (2BR Condo) in either Orlando, Florida or various

location choices in Mexico (Cabos San Lucas or?)

– Movie Passes

– Oil Changes

– Catered Dinners for eight

– Various Gift Basket choices

There is something for everyone!

We recognize you have many supporters outside of Grace and ask you to share the information and encourage them to come to the event, enjoy dinner and the auction.  A copy of the flyer is attached if you would like to send it out as well.  If your supporters want to provide financial support to you specifically, we have a process to ensure donations designated are held apart and forwarded directly to the designee.

Please  share with and encourage your other supporting churches to participate in the event.  They should contact Dianne Bentz  atdianne.bentz@verizon.net or by cell phone (503)307-5817 or myself at djvawser@msn.com or by phone at (503)491-9191.  Ticket prices are:  $15 for individuals or two for $25.  Tickets must be paid in advance and will be held at the On-Call Desk for pick-up the evening of the event.
