Committee of International Cooperation for Bible Translation in Sign Languages

Today we have a ViBi leadership team meeting. Pray for wisdom.

Pastor Matsumoto came early for the meeting and spent the night with us yesterday. I was excited to hear that our trip to the United Bible Societies meeting in Costa Rica last December is still bearing fruit. The four Deaf representatives from Asia (Pastor Matsumoto), Europe, South America, and North America meet by webcam every week to talk about the worldwide Sign Language Bible Translation (SLBT) work,. They have written several documents outlining their plans, and have been preparing and examining a  budget for training events. What a joy it is to see strong, forward looking Deaf leadership taking ownership of the worldwide SLBT effort. Praise God with us!

Keep praying for our last push to finish Genesis. Recording day was moved to early April.
