Turning Point

Just a quick note. We get on the plane tomorrow (if there are open seats) for the U.S. where we’ll be until January 19, so those of you who are on our direct e-mail list (non-yahoogroups) will need to watch our blog if you want to keep up on what is happening. Technical difficulties (dead laptop) aside, we do surely want all of you standing with us.  Winds of change have been blowing that could drastically change what we do and how we do it. It could be a huge step forward, or backward, for the JSL Bible translation project. We have a meeting related to that January 8 that we particularly need you praying for.  We particularly need the wisdom from above which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy (get the whole scoop at James 3:13-18–an amazing passage that is available to Japanese Deaf people in their own language!)
